20 Universally-Hated Songs That Are Actually Technically Very Good

7. Uncle Kracker - Follow Me

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Gjx-ZQuQ_Y From Kid Rock to his DJ, Uncle Kracker tried to break away from his loudmouth band leader with his own album in the early 2000s and the lead single proved to be a hit. Follow Me has the sound of a sweet and soft country pop song, though read the lyrics and he's actually trying to convince the married woman he's sleeping with to leave her husband and be with him. Lovely. Under the questionable morals, the music is country bliss, relaxing full of organs, acoustics guitars and slide passages - and well worth a listen to if you can ignore the lyrics and listen as an instrumental version.

I am a man of many interests. I am a passionate gamer, running my own YouTube channel (The Gadget Addicts) showing off the best of modern gaming in the form of Let's Play videos. I am an ardent musician, having been a guitarist for the past 13 years. I am also a massive geek, I adore science fiction and fantasy films and TV shows and am trying to work up the courage to start writing a novel. If I can ever think of a good story to tell... I live with my wife in the North East of England and own a belligerent little black cat.
