https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdHrHaO-na0 The Crash Test Dummies, a Canadian folk rock band that found success in the mid to late 90s, had a couple of hit singles, mainly "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" which hit #1 in Australia and #2 in the U.K. (it topped out at #4 in the US). However, the band also turned up on the Dumb and Dumber soundtrack, a film that would feature fellow Canadian and comedic legend Jim Carey, right in the prime of his career. Yet it wasn't Carey the band secured for the video to "The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead" - a cover of an XTC song - but co-star Jeff Daniels, who reprises his role of Harry, and winds up with a Pumpkin stuck on his head.
