3. If You Study Music, Then Your Teacher Assumes You're A Slacker
This might not apply to everybody: many people will have had a Dead Poets Society style music teacher who embraced instruments that orchestras forget, but for some of people this is not the case. It might be slightly down to the fact that guitar players are more fun and so arent seen to be taking things as seriously as they should, but a lot of the time you might feel like the Bender of the class. That is, until you finally get to show off some exam pieces and blow everybody out of the water with your finger-picking.
