How could anyone ignore the father of punk-rock guitar playing?

The Ramones' star man basically invented riff-led metal: not only was his style iconically brutal, he also proved that speeding up metal riffs didn't mean losing anything of their integrity. Few had ever turned a guitar into a weapon before he burst - buzzsaw in hand - onto the scene.
