2. T In The Park (Kinross-shire, Scotland 12th - 14th July)
It's Scotland's biggest music festival. And it's in its 20th year so it is going to be huge? Well we're not really sure about that one yet. T20 brought with it a lot of hopes of a great line-up. Perhaps there might have been some of the top headliners that have played the festival in the past 20 years such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers or The Who? But instead we are met with a rather bittersweet line up so far. Unsurprisingly, the announcement of Rihanna was not received with very many positive opinions and helps to continue T In The Park's breakaway from its rock roots. In saying that there is some reasons to be positive: The announcement of The Killers headlining is great after they had an excellent 2012 with the release of "Battle Born". Not only that, the addition of Jake Bugg is something to take into account after he was without doubt one of the best newcomers to British guitar music last year. The T In The Park organizers have their work cut out for them to meet the fans' expectations of T20 and will need to bring in some big acts in the next round of announcements. However when T In The Park comes together in July it will be Scotland's 5th largest city and due to the fact it is the 20th anniversary spirits are sure to be higher than ever.
