4. Butthole Surfers Electriclarryland
The Album Say what you like about this album, but as far as I'm concerned, all criticism can be countered with one word - Pepper. Somehow simultaneously baffling and uplifting,
Pepper is a towering masterpiece of a song that could even raise a One Direction album to classic status were they to cover it.
The Cover It was perhaps foolish to expect anything classy or tasteful from a band that gleefully refers to themselves as The Butthole Surfers, but look at that thing. It's a bland illustration from a GCSE science textbook mixed with the horrible pencil/ankle scene from the original Evil Dead. I can't look at it without feeling bored and repulsed at the same time.
