3. Fun Some Nights
I must stress that I personally despise Fun, but regardless of my opinions about their musical output, it cannot be denied that their music videos go a long way to make up for the songs contained within them. 2012 saw the band release their second album, Some Nights, and its first single, We Are Young, featured a slow motion bar fight, amongst other things. The albums second single, also titled Some Nights, built upon this, depicting the band in a US Civil War battle scenario. The video shows the battle from three perspectives, one of which is that of the bands lead singer, a Union commander. The other two, meanwhile, showcase the hardships of war through the perspectives of a young man taken away from his lover and a farmer taken away from the lifestyle that he knows and loves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQkBeOisNM0
