With just completing their comeback UK tour celebrating 10 years since Permission To Land and also promoting their most recent release 'Hot Cakes', it seemed just to write an article to share the reasons why The Darkness are a great band, in fact, an amazing band, but often forgotten about (as of lately anyway). Once a household name, by knowledge of riské lyrics, one-piece jumpsuits and ultimately the most important - great music, The Darkness have risen like the ever-popular metaphor, the Phoenix, to fill the void in the current music genre spectrum to bring that inspiring feeling of hearing great music.
