35. Muse - Black Holes And Revelations

Muse's fourth album emerged from the dark, abrasive (but no less grand) worlds of Origin of Symmetry and Absolution to propel Muse firmly into the mainstream limelight. Mega-hits 'Starlight' and 'Supermassive Black Hole' dominated the airwaves, while deeper cuts such as 'Exo-Politics' kept the LP's tone firmly in the stratosphere throughout. This album sees Matt Bellamy finally ascend to rock god status, a role he'd been admittedly playing throughout his career, and his virtuosity on both piano and guitar is fully documented here.
