33. Pendulum - Hold Your Colour

Drum and bass exploded back onto the worldwide music scene in a big way thanks to Pendulum's 2005 debut, Hold Your Colour. Although drenched in distorted guitars and gargantuan space-rock production, it remains a drum and bass LP at heart, and turned the British/Australian collective into household names with the aid of a raucous live reputation. Despite pre-dating the EDM explosion by almost a decade, Hold Your Colour contains many hallmarks often thought of as innovative today - and still manages to hit harder than a great deal of its modern imitators.
