8 Amazing Music Albums You Can’t Even Buy Anymore
6. Crispin Glover - The Big Problem Does Not Equal The Solution, The Solution Equals Let It Be
Bizarre title, isn't it? It might make more sense if I mention the name Crispin Glover. You know, the guy who played George McFly in Back To The Future, who famously appeared on David Letterman in a state of bizarre paranoia.
Glover's eccentricities are well documented, and make for an absolutely fascinating watch (and listen, too). He recorded The Big Problem during the breaks in his movie career, and released it in 1989.
Though the album is absolutely crazy (swinging from strange covers to bizarre, circus-sounding music) it's also wildly entertaining, and a huge piece of the Glover enigma. Many of the tracks are nothing more than Glover raving over different pieces of music, but there are legitimately good songs too, like Never Say Never To Always. That it's gone out of print is shame, but it also seems oddly fitting, too.
