4. Death - Scream Bloody Gore

wikipedia

Considered by many to be the first true death metal record, Scream Bloody Gore was recorded by Death and released in 1987.

Reception to the album has been extremely positive, with many critics praising its significance in the development of an entire sub-genre of metal. British metal magazine Metal Forces described the album as "death metal at its utmost extreme, brutal, raw and offensive"- the kind that separates the true death metallers from countless trend-following wimps.

Scream Bloody Gore contains ten tracks and two bonus tracks, and has been out of print for many years. If an album responsible for the foundation of death metal can go out of print, truly nothing is safe.
