7. Psycho - Bob Summerfield (1998)
In Gus Van Sants shot-for-shot remake, Flea plays a timid convenient store clerk who apparently doesnt take social cues very well. Psycho marks the second time Flea worked with the indie director. The first was in the 1991 film My Own Private Idaho starring River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves. Overall Bob Summerfield is not Fleas best role. Yes, he does a great job rocking the ambiguous crew-cut/V-neck hybrid shirt and holds his own against Viggo Mortensen when it comes to nailing the Arizona accent. But Julianne Moores headphones and a creepy William H. Macy steal the scene.
