9 Most Disturbing Music Videos You've Ever Seen

7. Silent Shout - The Knife (2006)

The Knife An enslaving and stimulating single from the Swedish electronic duo, The Knife, who are known by fans for their style of mystifying yet intriguing sounds, gave their single in 2009 an alluring video, that throws the viewer into a drowning sea of flashing white and orange lights. Directed by Andreas Nilsson, who gained inspiration from the graphic novel Black Hole, tantalised us with a visually stunning video. It's strange and peculiar set pieces and invasive sporadic visuals are mesmerising and enslaving, while the tone of Silent Shout, is something out of the ordinary, it is incontrovertibly very surreal and dark. While this may be visibly bizarre and astonishing, it undeniably draws out feelings of uncertainty with such dreary images, causing dismay.
