Esmée Denters did incredible to go from a YouTube channel to hit single with Outta Here. But the production is a timepiece stuck in the dredges of the 2000s club boom, which makes sense as she worked with some of 2009's hottest producers including OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Justin Timberlake.
The Dutch singer was soon dropped by her label and featured on the British version of The Voice. Behind all the production, she is talented, but can you imagine a YouTuber getting a chart hit these days? It’s probably for the best that we didn’t give Esmée Denters a second hit.
