Alter Bridge: 10 Best Hard Rock Songs

5. White Knuckles

If 'Crows On A Wire' has a claim to be Alter Bridge's most underrated song then 'White Knuckles' certainly does as well. Returning to the 'Blackbird' album here, 'White Knuckles' is a slightly overlooked tune due to the gargantuan songs which surround it on the albums track list.

Trying to stand out against songs such as 'Ties That Bind' and 'Break Me Down' would be a tough ordeal for a lesser song, but 'White Knuckles' still performs notably well despite the dazzling competition.

In spite of its lack of mainstream exposure and honestly poor marketing, 'Blackbird' persevered and managed to become a commercial success for the band, although not quite reaching the heights of their debut record. This commercial success was highlighted by the album peaking at #4 in the US rock album chart and #2 in the UK rock album chart.

'White Knuckles' itself was not released as a single, but perhaps it should have been with its riveting riffs and thunderous hard rock environment.
