Yes, it's a bit of a no-brainer, but considering how stretched thin the guys already are (Fortress' tour felt like it came and went in a heartbeat due to other commitments) it's worth taking stock of how awesome it'll be to see the original four back on stages across the various countries of the world again. Hopefully 2016's rollout of dates will hit some regions previously untouched, as AB's profile has definitely soared in recent years thanks to all their combined efforts - and we can hope for that revitalised cake to be topped off by some Download frosting, fingers crossed. Regardless, Alter Bridge are at an entirely new level of appreciation right now (AB III took them into stadiums, topping that off with Wembley, no less), and considering the split between Myles owning some of the largest crowds in the world whilst fronting Slash, and Tremonti's doggedly taking his solo outfit from the smallest venues of the land back up to the top all over again - it should combine into one hell of a powerhouse of talent when the time comes.
