3. "Diva" (I Am... Sasha Fierce)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNM5HW13_O8 The ultimate champion of strut-your-bad-self anthems like 'Run The World' and 'Crazy In Love', 'Diva' is a perfect concotion of club-ready beats and fierce, badass lyrics, one that as a single would have dominated both R&B radio and the coolest of clubs. Admittedly this was technically a single but only for the American listeners, so us over the pond in the UK never got the pleasure of the full single treatment. 'Diva' is pretty damn accessible too - it's empowering, it's a damn fine slice of ear candy and absolutely anyone can identify with the feelings of strength and confidence that we can all do with from time to time. Nothing better than a coolly-crafted confidence boost with Ms Knowles' vocals pumping through your ears. The fact that this has been adopted as an anthem for the LGBTQ community in some parts as well as an unofficial drag queen call-to-arms speaks to the song's absolute unused and untapped potential as a late summer smash.
