https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26sP2WsA5cYPost expands on the themes of Debut with a cinematic optimism in the way of a small town girl taking on a big world. The emotional immaturity that would be grown out of on Homogenic is still evident on this album, which at times imbibes it with an unfocused, dull quality.
Though moments such as "It's Oh So Quiet" and "Hyperballad" still stand out as high points in Bjork's discography. The former containing the emotionally manic moments that would be expanded upon in later releases.
The main problem with the album is its matching of industrial songs with orchestral tracks that makes for a jarring listen in an ultimately frustrating manner. This leaves the album feeling more like a disconnected collection of tracks as opposed to a complete work.
