Bloodstock 2014: 5 Bands You Must See

1. Amon Amarth

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edBYB1VCV0k The Swedish lovers of Norse mythology have been long overdue at Bloodstock since their last performance back in 2009. Since then the band have released two full length records, 'Surtur Rising' (2011) and 'Deceiver of the Gods' (2013) which have propelled the band into one of metal's strongest, most fiercest performers. Now, in 2014 Amon Amarth are set to sub-headline the main stage on Sunday and bring their Viking war machine to UK shores. Following hugely successful tours, including last years Defenders of the Faith, the band are set to bring one of the most memorable and entertaining performances to the weekend. Expect a full stage performance with plenty of pyro, riffs to set the hair flying, row boat moshpits and monstrous vocals from frontman Johan Hegg. Let's just hope they bring the Viking warship for their stage setup.... Bloodstock Open Air 2014 takes place at Catton Hall from August 7th - August 10th.
