Eminem - Kamikaze: Every Song Ranked From Worst To Best
10. Nice Guy
Jessie Reyez is one of only a few features on Kamikaze and surprisingly manages to match Eminem for anger and intensity. However, this track is let down by Em himself who seems to phone in his verse with some lazy lyrics and a flow that makes him sound somewhat exhausted.
Though being in auto-pilot mode when you are as good as Eminem means this is still above par, it is simply not as good as the majority of songs that came before it. It also deals with a subject that Eminem has done to death in his later career: that of a bad romance and a relationship failing.
It is better than most of his songs in recent years tackling the concept of poor partner choices, but much like Good Guy that followed it, this feels like it’s on the wrong album, and as a result just comes across as filler on an otherwise fat-free project.
