4. Venom
Though it's clearly been tacked onto the end of Kamikaze, Venom is vintage Shady; fantastic hook, head-spinning rhymes and buckets of passion.
Venom sounds like something from Relapse but without the accents, and is in many ways the most ‘Shady’ song on the album. It’s also the perfect closer to an album that celebrates his ‘evil twin’, and does so whilst still being as loud and angry as anything from The Marshall Mathers LP.
We will likely hear the song a lot more in the coming months as the Venom movie is released, but that’s certainly not a bad thing. For a film that’s about a parasite creating a darker persona within someone, who better than Eminem via his Shady character to spit the anthem to accompany the Marvel movie?
