Every David Bowie Album Ranked Worst To Best (By Guitar Power)
27. Outside (1995)
Amusingly, Bowie had said in interviews that this album was redolent of Diamond Dogs. In thematic negativity perhaps, but musically only in a parallel universe where Diamond Dogs wasn’t actually a blistering rock’n’roll album and Outside wasn’t a fairly nondescript hum-drum affair.
The second-hand CD racks are filled with the latter period Bowie albums as they were bought in eager anticipation and discarded after a couple of desperate attempts to find a half-decent song on there.
