Every Judas Priest Albums Ranked Worst To Best

8. Redeemer Of Souls

One of Judas Priest's more recent albums, Redeemer Of Souls was released back in 2014 to commercial and critical acclaim. After longtime guitarist and collaborator K. K. Downing left the band due to creative differences, it seemed like a follow-up to the mixed bag of Nostradamus might not happen at all.

Fortunately for them, the band saw an injection of youthful energy from new guitarist (and comparative fetus) Richie Faulkner. Faulkner was only 34 at the time of joining the band and, despite his rough and ready influence being heavily felt throughout the record, many agree it was a return to the fiery vigour of old Priest music.

The tracks Dragonaut and Metalizer are considered to be the high points on an album of very consistent high points. In fact, the only criticism that could be levelled at this scientifically consistent album is that it may play it a little too safe at times. Despite this, the fact that a band as old as Judas Priest released an album this good this far into their career is nothing short of miraculous.
