https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ndRF26xbA0 Another from Echoes, Patience, Silence & Grace, Summer's End is one of a few Foos tracks to include a guitar solo - something that we assume the band hold back on to make their rare occurrences that much more perfected and memorable. It's a gorgeous track that opens with a simplistic riff and groove - although it's the gigantic chorus that'll etch itself into your subconscious if you've never heard it before. Why this wasn't the followup single to The Pretender we'll never know, but when you add on that sumptuously uplifting guitar solo, it elevates the entire track into something pretty sensational.
