Probably the only positive thing to come from the devastating death of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain was the birth of the Foo Fighters.

As the drummer of Nirvana Dave Grohl was a massively talented musician, but what went unnoticed at the time was his ability as more than just a percussionist. Often Grohl would pick up the guitar and write his own songs, but due to to his admiration of Kurt Cobain's ability as a songwriter he kept it to himself. Who knows what Nirvana could have been if he didn't succumb to that intimidation.

Following the death of Cobain in 1994 there were many approaches for Grohl from bands such as Pearl Jam and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, but instead he went on to form the now world famous Foo Fighters. Birthing the band on his own, whilst playing every instrument himself, the band picked up traction quickly and rose to become arguably one of the greatest bands of all time.

But how well you know the Foo Fighters? Can you name which song it is from the following lyrics?

Answers are at the end!
