4. Linkin Park

There are few modern rock acts that carry the same weight as Linkin Park. The Californians have amassed a massive following since their formation in 1996 and are instantly recognizable, even to those who aren’t strictly interested in rock music, due in part to their inclusion on the soundtrack of the Transformers movies.

Not only that, but Linkin Park have constantly evolved in order to remain relevant, and their newer, more electronic-pop songs are the perfect fit for Glastonbury.

While these days they are gaining more success in the mainstream, their inclusion in the headline slots would doubtless bring in nostalgic fans of their older, heavier albums like Hybrid Theory and Meteora, resulting in even more profit and exposure for the festival.
