When Guns N’ Roses announced they would be bringing their Not In This Lifetime tour to the shores of Britain, they quickly became the bookies favourite to nab one of the three headline spots for Glastonbury 2017.

Unfortunately though, it wasn’t to be, and the band left for Europe after two back-to-back nights in the London Olympic Stadium without making an appearance at the iconic festival.

This was a real shame because the long awaited reunion of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff Mckagan is perhaps the best justification for a Glastonbury headline performance, as at one time, such a reunion never seemed possible.

Plus, their classic hits like Sweet Child O’ Mine, November Rain, Welcome To The Jungle, and Paradise City would go down a treat with festival audiences, and their ultra-recognisable status and platform for audience participation only adds to the mind-blowing experience festival audiences would undoubtedly witness.
