Guns N' Roses: 15 Obscure Tracks You've Probably Never Heard

15. Shadow Of Your Love

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLYViFwXBwQ Source: Live And Let Die single Shadow of Your Love is probably one of the most common "rare" Guns N' Roses tracks, mostly because there are multiple "live" and demo recordings of the song out there. It was released by the band no fewer than three times, on the Live from the Jungle EP (an import), the single for It's So Easy, and the single for Live and Let Die. The song was composed by Axl Rose and fellow founding GN'R member Izzy Stradlin back in their Hollywood Rose days (a precursor to Guns N' Roses). The "live" track found on Live from the Jungle, however, is actually a studio recording with crowd noise over-dubbed.Legit live bootlegs do exist though, and in the early 2000s, another edition of the song was released (two technically) on The Roots of Guns N' Roses (a collection of old Hollywood Rose tracks) - which happened to be mixed by former Guns N' Roses touring guitarist Gilby Clarke. The Clarke remix of Shadow of Your Love happens to feature guitar work by original GN'R guitarist Tracii Guns.
