Guns N' Roses Coachella: 5 Ways It Could Be Amazing (And 5 It Could Suck)

4. Get The Setlist Right

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SbUC-UaAxE We€™ve already seen that the set pretty much has to start with Welcome To The Jungle, but what follows is also very important. You can€™t release one of the greatest rock debuts of all time and not play most of its songs live, so you€™d expect to see a large portion of the set taken from Appetite For Destruction. From that record you€™d want It€™s So Easy, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child O€™ Mine, Paradise City, Nightrain and Mr Brownstone at the very least. From follow-up G N€™ R Lies you€™d have to have Patience and Used To Love Her, and from the Use Your Illusion albums... well, how do you choose which of those 30 songs make the cut? Civil War, November Rain, You Could Be Mine and Estranged are probably all shoo-ins, but most fans will have differing views about what else should go in or be left out. It€™s a tricky balancing act for the band, but if they make the right choices (nothing off Chinese Democracy, and it€™s probably best they avoid their cover of Knockin€™ On Heaven€™s Door with its extended reggae middle eight when played live, too) then this has the potential to be one of the all-time great reunions.
