One of the strangest songs Kanye ever recorded. The song offers a juxtaposition to the hopeful ‘Highlights’ on The Life of Pablo. The animalistic song depicts a sex-fuelled Hollywood dinner party that Kanye wants to happen.
The Life of Pablo is about the tug of war battle going on in his head between the married life and the sinful indulgence and partying of a famous life. 'Freestyle 4', is an homage to the latter. The track represented the twisted, desireable pull of his renowned lifestyle, one in which he was trying to escape for a family life.
The song samples 'Human' by Goldfrapp, which makes up for the haunting strings that open the song. Tyler the Creator also used the beat in his version of the song, titled ‘What the F*** Right Now?’.
