Katy Perry: 10 Things We've Learnt From The Queen Of Pop

6. The Show Can Always Go On

Katy Perry demonstrated incredible feats of personal strength in her Part Of Me documentary film - her marriage to Russell Brand was breaking down and so was she, all of which was caught on camera. Perry does not edit this out of the film and choses instead to grant her fans full access to a very painful and personal event. The darkest moment of Part Of Me shows the usefully cheerful Perry in a state of complete despair and depression right before she is due to perform to the largest crowd of her career. The decision to leave the scene in the film was a brave one on Perry€™s part and it deepens the connection between the singer and how relatable she is to her fans. The scene shows that even Katy Perry goes through hard times and the fact that she is still able to pick herself up her and preform her show is the face of such immense heartbreak is truly inspirational and admirable. By showing her fans that it is possible to overcome such heartache she teaches us to never give up no matter how bad a situation we may find ourselves in.
