3. "I'm Alive" from Asylum, 1985
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cibvfYuMTF4 For many fans the Asylum album is the beginning of a largely forgettable era for Kiss. The record spawned a cheesy hit in the form of Tears Are Falling and a couple of videos, one for the notably hilarious Uh, All Night which received consideration for this list but missed the cut. Im Alive is another excellent Paul Stanley tune that makes a metal statement amidst much fluff. While Asylum has its share of filler this one is a stand out, frenetic in pace and featuring some outstanding lead work by new addition Bruce Kulick. "Im Alive" is a great driving tune, the kind that gets you demerit points.
