Korn: EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

3. The Nothing

Korn's most recent album, The Nothing is absolute revelation. Arguably their heaviest album to date, it is a clear throwback to the band's earlier records, full to the brim with some of Davis's most pained lyrics and the band's most musically intense sound. The opening "Cold" is a stand-out which features the meatiest bass line Fieldy has ever conjured, with a chorus as brutal as it is catchy.

The Nothing also features the 90s-era "Idiosyncrasy," the melodic "H@rder," and the savage "The Darkness Is Revealing."

Blending Korn's knack for creating melodic hooks with their more thrashing tones, The Nothing shows a band much more mature than they were when they first burst onto the scene, but still able to dig into the angst and pained emotion that made the mega-successes they are today. Many bands lose their identity as they go on, but with their latest album Korn prove to be a band most comfortable sticking to their roots.

Best songs: Cold, Idiosyncrasy, H@rder, You'll Never Find Me, The Darkness is Revealing
