Metallica's 11th Album: 10 Things Fans NEED To See
1. Collaboration With Big 4 Bands
Over the past few years, Metallica have done various reunion shows to celebrate the release of their classic material. From jamming with old bandmates like Ron McGovney to playing entire albums from front to back in concert, the nostalgia bug has definitely gotten to them as of late. While the reunion with original members was something unique, it might time for something even more special for the thrash metal family.
They have played shows together and have even jammed together, so it might be time for all the members of the Big 4 of thrash to come together for one epic track. This tune could both serve as a tribute to the band's heavy metal roots while also featuring some soloing from some of the best in the business from Kerry King to Dave Mustaine.
As much as their animosity goes back, you'd be lying to yourself if you thought a Metallica original with a new Mustaine solo isn't something you need in your life.
The tune could even be a way to honor not only the scene that helped birth them, but also pay tribute to those who everyone has lost along the way from Jeff Hanneman to Cliff Burton.
Though each band have had their ups and downs, bringing all of the Big 4 together again would be one of the finest moments for the Brotherhood of Metal.
