2. State of Love and Trust
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdMEON3iY2M The bands punk roots come screaming out in Breaths sister track. The other Pearl Jam song on Cameron Crowes soundtrack to Singles, State of Love and Trust is one of the bands fastest songs post Porch, with the melody and catchiness of their Ten era. Vedder is at the peak vocally here, screaming and hitting every note perfectly. Theres an aggression in the song that was seldom seen before the release Vs, and was a sign of things to come for the band. The track was so popular that it was included along with I Got ID and Breath on the bands greatest hits collection.

As a pretty nerdy guy, I've loved film and television since I was a wee lad. Growing up in Ireland, The Den was the show to watch with it playing Batman The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and everything in between. I have an MA in Radio and Television Production and have written for various sites, hope you enjoy my articles/lists for What Culture!
