"The Village Green Preservation Society" instantly conjures colourful images of the Great British Summer; images of outdoor tea-party's, freshly-made lemonade, bunting, cricket on the village green, hay fever and all the things that made Britain, well, Britain. Admittedly, to modern ears this imagery may appear quaintly outdated but that was the point and there remains something timeless about the immediate nostalgia this song invokes and how the clock seems to roll back as soon as the first note is struck. No matter when you were born this song has an innate ability to bring back feelings of childhood which renders it strangely timeless. A true classic in every sense of the word.

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things.
