Worst Album of the Week: Yeezus released by Kanye West

As a former Kanye West fan, this album sounds like it was thrown together for extra money. The lyrics are not bad, but the album is annoying in general. The beats seem to be 80s/90s industrial beats and they do not mesh well with the rapping. To be blunt, the album sounds like Kanye seducing a bunch of different robots. This album could not compete with The College Dropout, Graduation, or even My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Yeezus might make my list of my top awkward sounding albums of all time.

Not Quite As Bad

Rapper J. Cole's new album is nothing special; it just seems like another rap album released by another generic rapper. It isn't a bad album but isn't great either. Pop/rap/rock/dance band 30H!3's new album Omens has one really catchy song in "You're Gonna Live This." And like every other 3OH!3 album, there is only one good song to listen to and the rest are irrelevant. R&B singer Kelly Rowland released her newest album Talk A Good Game, which sounds like a slower, more ballad-like version of her last album. Follow me on Twitter @rturkarticles.
