There are plenty of dance music acts out there at the moment. The electronic scene has witnessed a big boom within the past few years, both in the number of artists and the fanbase. With that said, there is no other electronic band quite like Empire of the Sun.
Comprised of Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, Empire of the Sun combines glam-rock with a theatrical stage show set to electronic-tinged pop-rock. Thankfully, their set is at night, which allows all of their visual flourishes to pop off the stage. Since it doesnt look like Daft Punk will be playing shows anytime soon, Empire of the Sun will certainly fill that spot quite well. There is no other band quite like this.
