Bitter kiss-off? Tribute? Or is it just a snide joke? The Dandy Warhols and BJM crossed paths in person countless times, finally doing so in song later on. As you would expect, debate lingers as to the origins and meaning of Dandy. Supposedly created as a response to Dandy Warhols Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth (pertaining to Newcombes former drug use), whether or not it is just a rib, a malicious verbal jab or a rather unlikely coincidence is irrelevant.
