Watch Jennifer Hudson's Grammy Awards Tribute To Whitney Houston

Singing, 'Whitney, we will always love you', Hudson ended the 'In Memoriam' section of the show with her performance of the famous song.

During last night's emotional Grammy Awards ceremony, Jennifer Hudson performed a tear-filled tribute to the late Whitney Houston with a rendition of her most iconic song, 'I Will Always Love You'. Singing, 'Whitney, we will always love you', Hudson ended the 'In Memoriam' section of the show with her performance of the famous song, culminating in her blowing a kiss towards the big screens which featured images of all those we have lost in the past year. Music superstar Whitney Houston sadly died on Saturday evening (February 11th) in her hotel room for reasons yet to be determined. An autopsy has reportedly already taken place but has so far been placed on 'security hold' whilst the police continue their investigations. You can watch Jennifer Hudson's performance below; 21221222396 by YardieGoals During rehearsals for the performance, reports are that Hudson kept breaking down in tears and was having a really hard time getting through the song but she pulled it through on the night for a fitting tribute to one of her idols. Speaking about the late addition tribute to the ceremony, Grammy Awards executive producer Ken Ehrlich said; "It's too fresh in everyone's memory to do more at this time, but we would be remiss if we didn't recognise Whitney's remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and in particular her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years."
