Blueface has one of the strongest chances of getting into the freshmen list due to the fact that his song Thotiana has become arguably the most viral song of 2019 so far. The original music video has just under 50 million views alone and the remix featuring Cardi B has over 70 million too.
It is far from the only viral hit he has however, as Bleed It and Respect My Cryppin' also have tens of millions of Spotify listens. This is very impressive given that he has only been making music since November 2017, making him a true freshman of the hip hop industry.
Much like Blocboy JB last year with Look Alive, Blueface will likely be inducted for his incredibly viral song despite his rapping ability not being fantastic. Because of this, don't expect his cypher or freestlye to be very good.
