10 American Restaurant Chains That Need To Come To The UK

1. White Castle

We already mentioned burgers on this list, but let's be honest €“ they're a staple in the fast food market and well worth a second inclusion. This entry is one that we think could honestly walk into the British marketplace and become an immediate success with hardly any effort for two reasons. The first is that sliders are often claimed to be a big thing each year, but they remain something that hasn't been capitalised on. The other is that White Castle is already well known €“ they could come in with a much higher profile than Five Guys or Shake Shack did recently. White Castle's sliders would set it apart from every other burger chain currently within the UK, while their price point brings them in around McDonald's and Burger King rather than the Gourmet Burger Kitchen type of level €“ this would mean that they could stake out a portion of the British market fairly quickly. The difference is that sliders are admittedly small, but White Castle sells them in multiples €“ allowing for red blooded males to attempt their own Man vs Food type challenges. In the United States, White Castle also has one additional feature which it could launch in Britain as well is their microwavable frozen burgers. If these were made available in Iceland stores across the country much in the same way as the Gregg's products at Iceland, then it would introducing neighbourhoods to the slider concept ahead of the opening of a restaurant. All in all, White Castle would probably have the easiest ride in the UK than any other restaurant chain on this list. But these are just our opinions €“ what American restaurants do you wish would open up in Britain?
