10 Best Epic Rap Battles Of (Actual) History

7. Jim Henson Vs. Stan Lee (Vs. Walt Disney)

Capitalising on the childhoods of everyone born since the 1970s, this battle pitches the father of Marvel against the father of Kermit. A few savage blows start off the battle, with Lee commenting on Henson's unceremonious booting from Saturday Night Live and familial troubles. One of Henson's lines gets in deeper than the rest though: 'I'm amazed at all the vision it took to sign your name on all of Jack Kirby's comic books.'

Unusually, this battle's second round of verses actually sees the two reconcile and openly confess their admiration for one another. Lee compares Henson to a sunset while Henson tributes some of the incredible characters that Lee helped create which will last far beyond either of them. This tender moment is quite heart-warming, only for it to be overshadowed by the true villain of the piece: Walt Disney.

Walt (played by long time ERB writer and performer Zach Sherwin) lays down the law on both of them, pointing out that he owns all of their work now. One of his final lines is 'I own this whole series', indicating that at the time, Maker Studios was in fact owned by Disney.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
