10 Best Ever Stories Told On Hot Ones

8. Only One Person Is Scarier Than The Undertaker

Mark Calaway (aka 'The Undertaker' in WWE) wasn't just another wrestler joining the Hot Ones guest list. With over three decades in the wrestling business, he was someone with tremendous respect for "kayfabe" (the fictional side of 'rassling). Until more recently, veterans such as himself were highly unlikely to give interviews, especially candid ones.

Although he admitted to still being somewhat uncomfortable, Calaway carried on, divulging numerous backstage details and shenanigans, as well as promoting his retirement tour and The Undertaker: The Last Ride.

Much of the interview was fascinating, such as Calaway's fear of becoming the "chicken man," but two parts of the conversation stuck out from the others.

One was a tale of the legend's mother, who might as well have been his personal manager and security team. Calaway spoke of when his mother verbally decapitated Shane McMahon for drawing blood with a stiff shot to her son.

The second intriguing tidbit from the episode came when Sean Evans discovered Calaway's original gimmick as 'Commando.'

Calaway commended Evans for asking an original question yet still didn't discuss the role in great detail. However, his story still delivered a message about remaining humble as he constantly recalled being a broke wrestler and skipping meals.

Both tales revealed a more human side of Calaway, a dark performer with a close relationship with his mother and a classic rags to riches backstory.
