6. Will Smith: Maybe Check What Your Kids Are Doing...

Let's start this one by making a very important point: there's no doubt that most kids would love to have a set of parents like Will and Jada (Pinkett) Smith. First of all, your dad is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. You're fake-related to Carlton, for crying out loud! But also, there's no doubting that the Smith's are pretty badass parents to have; you get to go to award ceremonies and you have pretty much any opportunity that life could afford you at your feet. Unfortunately, Jaden and Willow aren't exactly doing great things with that... Jaden's year involved starring alongside his dad in the panned "After Earth", whilst he also played a rather annoying third wheel in Will's amazing turn on The Graham Norton Show. Whilst it's fair to say that Will Smith isn't the greatest actor of all time, he's at least enjoyable - but so far, Jaden's not been showing off too much of that. Willow, meanwhile, tried to revive her music career with a song called "Summer Fling". Two things here: a 12 year old shouldn't really have a music career to "revive" in the first place, and then came the outcry when most parents said that Willow singing about a "fling" wasn't all that age-appropriate. Her defenders were quick to jump in with the fact that it didn't have to be a "romantic" one - but the music video didn't do much to help. So, for 2014, maybe it'd be nice to see Will keep his kids out of the limelight, for everyone's sake.
