Gag-Inducing Ingredients: Budweiser, clam juice, tomato juice Really, what could be better than mixing a foul commercial beer with tomato AND clam juice? The answer is of course: nothing. Nothing is worse than mixing a foul commercial beer with tomato and clam juice. Don't even try. It's not worth it. Though calling anything by Budweiser a "craft beer" is a bit dubious, there's no doubt the brewing conglomerates were hankering to get their share of the burgeoning market with this one. Unfortunately, they took the worst approach possible, opting to make a specialty beer cocktail that tastes like equal parts V8 and fermented bong water. To be fair, the traditional beer cocktail this Budweiser mix was inspired by--called Micheladas--have their place in the pantheon of beer mixers. If you love a good Bloody Mary but would rather have your beer engulfed in the mixture rather than as a chaser, the idea of cracking open a Chelada probably sounds like a decent idea. But it's still a Budweiser. So...it's not.
