10 Craziest Things We Learned From Alex Jones And Tim Dillon On The Joe Rogan Experience
1. Jones' Battle With Addiction
As we've mentioned a couple of times throughout this list, Jones was happily treating himself to a few cups of whiskey for the duration of his conversation with Rogan and Dillon.
Jones also regularly tried to coerce the host into joining him for a glass or a smoke, despite Rogan regularly knocking him back due to him taking part in Stoptober.
It was only late in the podcast when Rogan directly addressed his friend's habits and way of life, stating that he wanted him to get healthy by hiring a dietician and trainer. Jones solemnly admitted that "I tried" before Rogan remembered that he'd gotten off the booze for a while and that he'd told the host he felt great for doing so. Jones managed to stay away from alcohol for four months and got through eight with barely any. Then he revealed that in the last three of four he ended up back drinking as usual.
He also outright refused to talk about his issues with Adderall after Rogan asked him to shine some light on his problems with the drug that scared "the f*ck" out of him.
Hopefully, some time away and listening to Rogan's advice can help Jones kick the booze or at least manage his intake going forward as his current way of life clearly isn't sustainable.
