He had never wanted to kill anybody. He had been struck by something, possibly destiny, or fate or only a degenerative nerve disease called rabies. Free will was not a factor. Cujo loved his family. He would have done anything for them and would never want to hurt them especially the boy. He was a big, loveable, fiercely loyal St. Bernard who lived with the Camber family just outside of Castle Rock, Maine. While chasing a wild rabbit through the fields surrounding their house one day, Cujo inadvertently sticks his head in a limestone cave and is bitten on the muzzle by a rabid bat. Slowly, over the course of a couple of days, Cujo succumbs to the rabid infection and transforms from the once loveable mutt into an insane, murderous giant who no longer knows right from wrong. He first kills an alcoholic neighbour and then his own master, Joe Camber. Donna Trenton and her young son Tad arrive at the Camber farm where Joe was scheduled to complete repairs on her car. What ensues is horrifying and tragic, as Cujo embodies pure, diabolical evil in spite of the fact that he was once a sweet, loveable pet.
A self professed Stephen King/Star Wars geek and pop culture neophyte, Scott tends to spend much of his time alone pondering life's greatest mysteries.....he also depends heavily on his son Liam, a great sounding board, to set him straight on Star Wars issues and gives him advice on what EXACTLY he's doing wrong.
