Fanfic Of: Godzilla Monster of Monsters Plot: A guy named Zachary is playing this 1986 game. Initially the game just seems to have some odd glitches and characters from the Godzilla franchise that curiously didn't appear until after the game was released. But as he keeps playing, aspects of the game get worse and worse. The game itself seems more aware and more dangerous than Zachary ever would have thought possible. Commentary: Despite the ridiculous premise, username Cosbydaf is able to sell it through his careful pacing, inspired horror imagery, and exceptional illustrations. Readers were particularly fond of the villain "Red," whom manages to look a bit creepy even rendered in 8-bit in a game full of monsters. It should be noted that a good many readers had issues with the ending of the story. So much so that Cosbydaf decided to write a parody ending, which is never a good sign. However, he has also begun a sequel which addresses (and retcons) some of the issues that fans had with the original tale, though the tone of it is meant to be more weird than the original story.
